Do zrobienia dużych sikorek użyłam wełny skarpetkowej, zaś małych – moheru (by były mięciutkie jak prawdziwe pisklaki). Wszystko zrobione jest na szydełku.

Rodzina sikorek została wykonana na zamówienie.

Proszę poszukać na internecie zdjęć i filmów pokazujących japońską technikę amigurumi . Mniej

After doing a better search, I found your flicker site and website. I love what you do! I have never seen anyone crochet over a felted form before. You are very clever! Thank you for sharing the photos of the process you use. Did you learn this from someone, or work it out yourself? I am always amazed at the beauty of the crafts I see on the internet which are made by Eastern Europeans. Somehow, I think, there is a richer heritage of fine workmanship there that the rest of the world should take more notice of. Do you learn needlework from school or at home? Just my curiosity making me ask. Thank you again, Ann Mniej

This is my fault too - at the beginning I didn't sign out my works and had different names on social media (what was confusing). I found my photos on Facebook with a question - did someone know who made it??? Now at least I give my logo on each photo and try to have the same name on Facebook, Flickr, Pinterest, etc. About your questions - I learnt needlework at home and a school as well but all ladies in my family have "golden" hands. My grandma could sew, knit and crochet but all family were impressed by her embroidery. Her cushions were beautiful and still on the family meetings we refer to it. My mother can sew, knit and crochet, my untie was hiding under the table to knit in a peace (she was the master in knitting). I'm an artist by school (not only one in our family). Crochet technique I learnt from my mum, you will be surprised, maybe 5 years ago (when I start my journey with sewing dolls). I'm still not very good in it, but I really like it. Crochet as a tool always amazed me. It is astonished what you can do it with one small wire and yarn:))) Technique I found on the internet. I think that this is called 'amigurumi'. Before I made felted animals (using dry felting method) for my son who attended waldorf kindergarten but after some time they loosed original shape and looked not 'fresh' (if you know what I mean). I was looking for other method. Crocheted animals are very solid. First birds set with nest I made for my friend's daughter. She asked me for a toy for small child. I remembered that my son loved to push and pull different things through the holes, opened and closed. So I decided to make a bird house with a birds family. At that time sparrows were coming on my balcony. During whole year I could watch how they build their nest, have small eggs and chicks. By making them I wanted to express my fascination of this small inconspicuous birds. Also I wanted to give to children the opportunity to play whole their life - from the building nest to have a chicks. I got a feedback from one of my customers who works with blind children, that they are finally catch the idea of eggs. They could see it by hands. It is my way of live world. Mniej

To make big bird takes 6-8 hours what means all set is quite expensive. If you write me, which set you are interested in, I will give you the price. Mniej
